About Mabin Marine
Mabin Marine is owned and operated by Simon Mabin. His mechanical background began when he was 16 years old, and spent five years in automotive dealerships. He then progressed to specialist in motorsport development.

Simon then wanted to travel the world and found himself in the marine world in Europe. After attending Warsash Maritime Academy, he went on to Chief Engineer vessels up to 63m 7,000kw. These vessels are also full of high tech systems that need constant maintenance and repairs.
Simon brings vast knowledge of mechanical diagnosis and repair to the Inboard and Outboard world. Systems in motorsport especially computer controlled engine management is shared on today's high performance outboards.

Today, inboard diesel engines are full of high tech computer management and systems that give them the high output they deliver from such a small unit.

Years of working on vessels with these engines in tenders and generators has given Simon experience in preventing break downs and quick diagnosis of faults.
